In 2020, I painted the work below and I'd love the opportunity to revisit the theme with a larger, more detailed work painted for the Campaign Legal Center.

Empowered people engulf the establishment, generating clouds.
As a commission for Campaign Legal Center, I propose to paint a work very similar to the one above, titled: Cloud-maker #32 (Uprising). This will be the thirty-second work in my "Cloud-maker" series, which re-imagines the origin of clouds. Similar to the work above, a deluge of powerful clouds will partially obscure view of iconic architecture. Woven into the clouds, a network of circuitry representative of collective ideas of people on the ground, rise up around the structures.
I'd like to suggest that the Campaign Legal Center may select buildings or an area to be featured in their commissioned painting, triptych, or Quadriptych which can be hung together on one wall or separately.

I'm able to begin work on the commission as soon as August and I anticipate completion of the paintings would be about 3 weeks for 1 panel, or 2 weeks per panel for multiple panels.

Additionally, I currently have a solo exhibition of painting from 7/30 - 9/12/2026 at The Athenaeum Gallery (201 Prince St, Alexandria, VA 22314), with a reception this Sunday, 8/2 from 4-6pm if anyone is interested to drop in and look at examples of my work.
