東京芸術大学の修士課程在学中（2004～2005年）、絹谷幸二先生の元で油絵を学ぶ中、文化交流をさらに進めるにはもっと的を絞った言語学習ツールが必要だと痛感しました。芸術分野の学生たちが外国で学ぼうとする姿を見、芸術家のためにこの本を執筆しました。

While in pursuit of an MFA in oil painting under Professor Koji Kinutani at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music (2004-2005), I recognized the need for greater language learning tools, to further foster our cultural exchange. As many other students of the fine arts aspire to study abroad, I endeavored to create this language instruction resource - for all of us!
